The Story of the Nyan-ko-pong
The Nyan-ko-pong rise from the roots of the Maroons, the fearless ancestors who fought for freedom in Jamaica’s mountains. Guided by the spirit of Nyan-ko-pong the Creator and protector they carried courage, unity, and love for their people.
Today, that same spirit lives on. The Nyan-ko-pong stand for rebuilding, helping, and uplifting every Jamaican. Their mission is the same as their ancestors’ to protect, to serve, and to keep the fire of resilience and pride burning strong across the island.

Our MISSION
The Nyan-Ko-Pong Sovereign Maroon Government Disaster Relief Fund stands with every family and community affected by Hurricane Melissa.
Our purpose is clear and heartfelt — to restore hope, rebuild homes, and strengthen resilience. Through emergency relief, food and medical support, and the rebuilding of sustainable communities, we are committed to helping our people rise again.
Every contribution carries power. Together, we bring comfort where there is pain, light where there is loss, and strength where there is struggle.
